Sky Full of Stars

Jorge Mario Bergoglio or mostly known as Pope Francis has always wanted to visit the Philippines after hearing about the tragedy, terror and damage that the Yolanda Storm has inflicted to the Filipinos that were living there peacefully. That's why...

January 15, 2015

It was an eerie bright morning. The sun was as at it's usual condition, shining at it's best and giving up way too much ultraviolet rays.

The Filipinos were all so giddy and ecstatic for his arrival. They have waited for a long time and were more-than-prepared for this time of their lives. Pope Francis was going to arrive this day and conduct masses until January 18 and leaves at Monday, January 19.

In his four days of staying, it was proven that the Pope was beyond more-- he was humble, kind and loving. He never cared for the people's appearances or disabilities, he would just hug, smile and kiss them at their foreheads and also wish them their recovery and good health. And he just always has that vibrant and dazzling smile plastered on his face. As he passes through every road, riding on the Pope mobile, he would wave his hand and beam at everyone.

He also visited Tacloban, Leyte where the Yolanda victims were mercilessly tortured and hurt by the Yolanda storm.

Pope Francis was born on the 17th of December, 1936. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is the reigning pope of the Catholic Church, in which capacity he is both Bishop of Rome and absolute sovereign of the Vatican City State. Pope Francis certainly made a great impact to a large amount of the world's population.

He was certainly an inspiration, a respectable person and a pope that we'd all look up to. He was yet, the people's favorite for all his good  and humble deeds. He never could have cared less for the people, as if he was almost selfless because he intends to think of the people's sake first rather than himself. He was really devoted to God and he certainly deserved that position.

He also accepted all the other religions and even meet with the other heads of some various religions. He convinced a lot of people to believe and pray to God because He'll always be there to guide and forgive us for all our sins. He helped and guided people to serve and love God who gave us all chances to exist and live the life we're living right now.

And he gave us the hope for every thing-- that in a sky full of stars, there's always a star that we're meant to have and that star is called our hope.

Against the Current

The world is created by God. He created nature, animals, plants, trees, and us, people to take care of all those that He created. Our ancestors were the ones who discovered ways to make life easier through technology. And technology was one of the factors that helped the world to be in it's state today.

People have started to work their souls in order to maintain a good life and a bright future, not just for themselves but also for the ones they love and care for.

In the present time, some of the Filipino citizens go to various countries for them to find a job and work there in order to support the ones they love and their families and earn a lot more than the amount of the earned money in their own country. In my opinion, it's fine if people go to different countries and abroad just to work because all of us have our own rights and one would be our right to make decisions. And these decisions are for the better future of the ones that we love and care for.

So for me, I think the government should allow more Filipinos to work abroad, since they have and they know what decision to make and what consequences they would face. They would still be Filipinos who are proud of what they are and where they came from.

Shattering

A mind-blowing self-opinion-ed ending for the famous piece, "Romeo and Juliet".

----------------------------

Romeo went to Juliet, only to witness her pale and dead along with Paris, right beside her coffin mourning over her. Romeo wanted to talk and have some alone time with her now-dead wife, and so, he asked Paris politely to leave. But Paris did not want to leave without a fight so he challenged Romeo and determinedly tried to kill him. However, Romeo mercilessly defeated Paris and stabbed him with his sword. Then, Romeo dragged Paris next to Juliet in her coffin and laid him next to his wife. Romeo went beside Juliet and drank the poison he brought and died sorrowful and longing for his wife's existence.

After a few moments, Juliet woke up, only to witness her husband and Paris dead beside her. She broke down and cried, regretting waking up late only to see something so horrifying and tragic. Friar Lawrence arrived and saw Juliet, but stopped when he heard the watchmen and went away. The watchmen took hold of Juliet and brought her to the kingdom to report to Prince Escalus.

After seeing Juliet being hold captive by the watchmen, Prince Escalus immediately took Juliet by the arm from the watchmen's hold. Juliet looked at Prince Escalus, shocked by the action but gently smiled at him. The Capulets and Montagues were called and told about the shocking incident and told to build a golden statue for the other side.

And then, Prince Escalus intertwined his hands with Juliet, and asked the Capulets for their daughter's hand in marriage.

Little did they know, all along, Juliet was in a secret relationship with Prince Escalus, and they loved each other endlessly. The Capulets wanted their daughter to be happy so they had nothing but to agree.

Then, Juliet and Prince Escalus lived happily ever after.

The End.

Twist: The story was really named, 'Prince and Juliet' but the readers really loved Romeo more than Prince Escalus so he changed the plot. Joke! Haha.
